Eighty new COVID-19 cases, 36 males and 44 females, have been identified by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory. There were 2,544 tests conducted on Wednesday, September 1.
The new cases comprise 65 people who are 18 years old and over, and 15 under the age of 18. There are 413 persons in isolation.
Confirmed cases of the virus recorded since March last year have reached 5,152 (2,535 females and 2,617 males). Fifty-one lives have been lost to COVID-19.
