On Saturday February 26, 2022 the St. Lucia Ministry of Health, Wellness and Elderly Affairs confirms a total of 18 new cases of COVID-19. This brings the number of active cases in country to date to 211. Currently, there are 15 positive cases of COVID -19 admitted at the Respiratory Hospital and two of them are critically ill and two are severely ill. These new cases bring the total number of cases diagnosed in country to date to 22,667. To date, a total of 52,225 individuals have been fully vaccinated. Another 5, 686 are partially vaccinated and 6, 715 have received their booster shot.

According to the latest statistics from the Ministry of Health and Wellness, Jamaica reported 25 new cases of COVID-19 and no fatalities. This pushed the total number of cases of the virus since the start of the pandemic to 127,986. The death toll remains at 2,813. The positivity rate for the latest round of testing was 2.6 per cent. There are 134 people hospitalised, 10 of them critically ill.
